Last day of July!!

Hello Friends!

I have missed writing and feel the urge to type, type, type! I feel withdrawls from it. :) Where do I even begin?
I can start off by saying that my family is doing well. My brother is the only one who hasnt been that great  for the past week. He first had a cold and now his tummy is hurting. My aunt and uncle have been doing great and my uncle has already given two talks this past weekend. He will give two more this weekend, possibly three. Mis abuelitos are also doing fine, they joined us for the English District Convention on Friday and went with my uncle to give a talk on Sunday.

We had the two Polish sisters with us until Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed their company very much and I know they also loved being here. I took them to several towns and we preached in several villages and here in Salinas also.

I have been emailing several friends and now I find myself running out of time to blog again! I need to sit here an afternoon and tell you some of the highlights of these past 3 weeks. I will tell you about two letters I received from some Korean brothers I met last year in New York. I also will share pictures hopefully of some whales we saw Thursday. Then last Friday we had an English District Convention and by brother and I had a participation. I will tell you all about it.

Take Care!!!!

LOTSªª

So much going on. This week will be hectic just like last.

The Polish sisters are here and will be here for another 2 weeks. We will head to Quito tomorrow night and go to Cuenca this weekend. Next weekend we have the English District Convention in Guayaquil. My uncle also arrives from California tomorrow afternoon, so he will be with us for like 3 weeks.
On Friday and Monday we went to several small towns and preached there. People are still hungry and honest about learning the truth! I love being a part of it. This week we will have the C.O. visit too.

I havent had time to write honestly and I have wanted to. I have pictures, videos and experiences to share.

Take Care!!

Yesterday my aunt, mom, brother and I went to Guayaquil on a two hour bus ride to visit our aunts. They are my grandpa's sisters. We stayed the night with them and ate yummy meals with them. This morning we walked on a bridge crossing over the River Salado. I took several nice pictures of birds and the river which I will share. I also took some up-close shots of the large 3-5 cm ants we have here. Around 1pm we came back home and saw a lot of commotion happening due to the Barcelona game. I took a video of how the streets were filled with cheering crowds of people. This evening after the meeting we went to a Karaoke gathering but as we arrived the hostess received shocking news that her best friend had died with her family in a car accident. We all were consoling her and her kids and then left.

Tomorrow several weeks of activites begin! The British sisters arrive on Tuesday and we will meet with them at the Branch. I need to clean and reorganize several things in my luggage and room. We are still using the luggage to place our clothing. I will also do some studying and reading. In the evening I might go trot and then rehearse something.

I will add pictures tomorrow...

Manana anado fotos...

Today I went out in service in the morning and visited two calls one of which did study. In the afternoon I spoke with a Buddhist woman who wasnt very conversational. We ended the convo and then went to see another of my calls.

Hoy sali a predicar en la manana y tuve conversaciones con dos revisitas mias. SI tuve un estudio y esta tarde fui a otra revisita. Hablamos con una senora Budista, per fue dificil razonar con ella.

Tomorrow we might go sight see in another coastal town. I will take pictures of that for sure and add them eventually.

Manana tal vez vayamos a otra ciudad en la costa. Tomare mas fotos y las anadire pronto.
Hope you have a great weekend!

7-3

Two British sisters arrive from London on Monday and will stay in Ecuador for 3 weeks. I am so glad that they have made plans to come. We will include them in all our service arrangements and also take them to Cuenca.

I have been doing very good. Sometimes I think of something in particular and it might make me sad and darken my mood, but I need to remember of how good its going here. I also am making new memories.
I am walking and exercising more, so that makes me happy. Friday we went to the beach and I trotted a bit. This morning I also went to a Zumba type of class the government provides for free.

Friday evening some friends went to the Santa Elena park and had hamburgers and smoothies. Their company that day was what I needed. They day before I had felt down and a bit negative about the way some teens treat you here at first. Thruogh out the day on Friday, I got two different calls and also many emails from friends in Mexico. So, getting those calls and emails were very encouragin and I doubt it was a coincidence. Its as if Jehovah is assuring me of his care and concern.

On Saturday we went to the Malecon in the evening and saw a TV show being presented live. We got in the crowd and were filmed. My brother was more notably seen. Its a dancing show for the country called, Baila Ecuador! Its a dancing competition amongst different cities in the country and Salinas participated. I was able to also see them film the routine about one month ago.

The Soccer game we went to was incredible. So much adrenaline rushing. The Barcelona team won by 3 goals. I loved yelling and being in the crowd. I also was able to meet two of the players and take pictures with them. I was allowed to go into a tunel, which is the entrance for all the players, since I told them I am a photographer blogger. I really am though, so it was super cool going in. My cousin also turns out to work there, so he went even farther in and took pictures. After we went to the hostel of another brother in Chulluype and had dinner.

Yesterday a group of 15 went to the villages and we all had good experiences. I am developing interest on 3 calls and have started 2 studies. It feels great seeing people react to Bible truths. Its so satisfying. After a long day out walking and getting bit by mosquitoes we drove to Ayange. Its a popular beach spot and all the kids got in. It was Genesis, Erick (her brother). Josias, and my brother and I. I love the driving to a from part of the trip. We laughed so much on the way back and sang.  I will include pictures of everything later this week.

This week I will get things ready for the sister that are coming and also preach lots. I know have 2 studies for sure, but I think I will be able to count another 2 this week. My brother has also started his own study and my aunt has several too. My mom has been doing so much for us that she supports us by joining us on our calls and in the afternoon service.

Kk, Thanks to those who have emailed me or sent me messages!

KEEP ON ENDURING!
